    EURONEAR - Tools - Limiting magnitude

Description: Drawing a histogram to evaluate the depth and limiting magnitude of sources given a FITS image.
Input: FITS image (extension .fits) having resolved WCS astrometry in the header, few other input parameters.
Output: Histogram showing magnitude distribution of all star detections, and the limiting magnitude of the image.
Queries: VizieR and SExtractor (run internaly).
Warning: Loading and solving larger images (few hundred MB) could take longer, please be patient.

NOTE: New tool released 2 Nov 2024, please use with caution.
